The Legal Wife is the story about Monica Santiago (Angel Locsin) who longed for true love because of having a broken family caused by her mother who left her father for another man. When Monica's father, Javier Santiago (Christopher De Leon) decided to raise Monica and give Eloisa Santiago (Rio Locsin) another chance, Monica felt no love towards her family anymore. Then one day, Monica met Adrian De Villa (Jericho Rosales) who made Monica believe in love again. Monica and Adrian fell in love with each other and believed that they are going to be happy forever. Monica and Adrian thought that their marriage are going to be perfect but Monica's family are against their marriage. Monica thought that Adrian won't give up on their marriage but Adrian met Nicole Esquivel (Maja Salvador) who ruins their marriage. How will Monica and Adrian's marriage end?
